Tremont 647 - 6th Annual Grilling Social
Me and the girls went to check this out last night in the south end. Tickets were $40 and included two Harpoon beers and lots of food samples. My favorite was the halibut with some kind of fresh salsa on top of refried beans, sitting on a chick pea tortilla chip. Although the pork belly on fig jam with toast was excellent as well! I love pork belly, but I told my friends it was just pork so they wouldn't get scared away. There were also sliders, lamb skewers, buffalo, swordfish, marinated salmon, s'more brownies, red velvet cupcakes, and cherry bar things. Overall, there was a serious amount of food and I ate everything but the swordfish and salmon. I did regret the amount of food that I ate though, or the combination, it was like a ridiculous amount of different flavors swirling around in my belly after that. I would go back again next year, it's well worth the $40, and it's a fun time!
