say hello to my yacht

On Friday, our friend who owns a boat took us out around the Boston Harbor. We started at the Barking Crab and walked down a little ramp and onto his boat which was parked there, you know just like a little boat parking lot outside of a bar. It was both the super cuteness and like testosterone dudely awesome. I'm finding out a lot of new things about myself this year: 1. i love farms and farm animals, 2. i don't actually have a problem holding a gun, 3. i suddenly love the color pink, and 4. i loooooove boats. I'll admit that I have been nervous on boats in the past, but those days seem to be behind me now. In fact, I didn't even wear a life jacket this time! Also, our friend took us to his work to see where he builds boats on the harbor. Boat building is a process that never even crossed my mind before. His friends kept pointing at things and explaining each step of their custom made million dollar boats, and yeah it was interesting and all, but the whole time all I could do was think to myself, "so how can I save my pennies up to buy one of these things??" I can't wait for the day where we can name a boat! That's when I know we've made it.
