This is a bit of a scary photo, but my dad took me and my brother out for ice cream tonight after our sunday roast. As a kid, I spent a lot of time with my dad going out for ice cream (or sherbert in my case) but I haven't been back to this particular ice cream stand in almost 10 years. Kimball Farm used to just be an ice cream stand, but now it's more of a family entertainment place: ice cream, bumper cars, mini golf, driving range, pitch and putt, and grilled and fried food stand. It was so crazy tonight that people were using three full parking lots when I only remember there being one back when I had hair down to my bottom and wore it in pigtails. Don't let the color of my sherbert cone fool you, they don't use food coloring in their ice cream treats (so they say) and it's actually orange sherbert and when I started eating it the cone was 3x as big. I almost didn't think that I would be able to finish it, but I am ashamed to say that I did. I out-ate both my dad and my brother, and it was one of those moments where i thought to myself: this doesn't seem normal does it...
