Hamersley's Bistro

last night we trekked to the south end to dine at Hamersley's Bistro in the south end. this is a really nice little date spot in a great neighborhood, and they have valet isn't that nice? i started with a winter mix salad it was just alright, nothing special really. for my main entree i got a steak special which was steak in a demi glaze and 2 big french fries and broccoli rabe. i really enjoyed it, i thought it was really flavorful and tender. abe started with the duck confit (i should have gotten that) and it was really good, but when is duck not good? for his entree he had the new england bouillabaisse with lots of fresh seafood. he liked it, but it was kind of missing something like a veggie or a starch or something. it was a bit small. and for dessert i got the bananas foster, whenever i see this i need to get it, and it was just sort of just ok. you know i enjoyed out night out and the meal, but i'm not sure that i'd go back again.
