i'm sitting at home on a friday night watching the first mccain and obama debate. i could say because it's raining and i melt when i leave the house in the rain, but it's also because i'm actually voting this year. you know your life is changing when you go from not being a registered voter to someone who is trying to make a good decision on voting day. it seems to be a lot different now at the age of 26 when my own money is swirling around the economy and i do my own taxes and pay for my own gas and i have a retirement fund and my parents are in the baby boomer generation. when i travel to other countries, i don't want to be perceived as a stupid american. i feel like now more than any other point in my life, this election is important to my life and my lifestyle. this election, i'm voting for Obama.

i don't know who won the debate, i don't know who has the right kind of experience, but i know who has the right vision for me to fix our problems and lead us down a brighter path. i'm really looking forward to the biden and palin debate. if anyone saw the katie couric interview that palin did, i'm sure they're thinking the same thing. you can find it on
you tube if you're curious. i think we'd all agree that we're looking for a team to come in and rescue us from the past 8 years.
