Things are not going so well today. the red line was a mess this morning, there was a tech problem at work, and i just overall don't feel well. and of course because i'm feeling kind of crappy, i have some ranting and raving to do:
the ballet flat trend. these things are very functional, but unless you're 5'8" or taller, you are really just making yourself look shorter, fatter, and frumpier. styles should work for you, not against you, i'm sorry to be the one to say that.
i saw perez hilton on a commercial for mtv last night. i think he's a fun blogger, but certainly not a celebrity, and that new mustache is awful. in my book, his 15 min. of fame are over.
i was reading this article in Self magazine the other day about women finding a way to feel comfortable within themselves. i understand this is a feel-good magazine, which is why i like it, but i didn't find any of those many stories inspiring. in fact, it kind of made me want to eat a snickers.
a man is supposed to go through a turn-style door, pushing it first for the woman to follow. a man is supposed to let a woman on to an elevator first, and off first. luckily for me, abe understands this. why don't the other 98% of men who work downtown?
do people still get wedding china? is that just tradition to get it, never use it, and keep it hidden away forever?
the couple that i voted for on the today show martha stewart wedding didn't win. the really really too young couple won. the other 3 much older couples looked Pissed. however, they will be able to pay for a wedding unlike the barely legals.
i tossed 12 pairs of shoes the other day, and of course today i bought 2. i shouldn't be let outdoors during lunchtime, it only leads to shopping or sweating.
